Andre and Kirstin’s wedding vow renewal was a very special one for me, partly because Kirst and I have been friends since school and also because it was my first trip to the Kruger. Their bush inspired wedding was held at Grand Kruger Lodge in Marloth Park, just outside the Kruger National Park, on the Crocodile River. It was an unbelievable setting for such a happy celebration, with the bride and groom all the way from Australia and so many friends and family from all over the world joining them. I am so glad that you chose me to be a part of this fantastic celebration, you two are such a perfect couple. xx

Adam and Elizma remind me of the saying, “The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation that you ever had.” They have a magnetic kind of quiet contentedness when they are with each other. Marc and Sam had their magical wedding at The Litchi Orchard in Salt Rock, KZN. One of the last weddings that the venue was due to hold. It was one of the most fun weddings I have shot because a large portion of the guests were friends and Sam and Marc really made sure that they included me in everything and even asked me to stay and party after – love that! It was such a pleasure to be a part your day, you two are so great together, wishing you endless joy and happiness together! xxx

I have know Jacki and Dave as a couple from when they first got together … where I did a shoot for them …  and it was such a pleasure to be there to capture their special day. I find that styled shoots are a great way to ‘refresh’ my creativity, what’s difficult about them though, is to focus when you have so much pretty to look at. I photographed Dave and Leigh’s wedding at Netherwood right  in the middle of winter. It was phenomenal weather for this time of year in the Midlands (KZN). It’s hard for me to describe (now that I am trying to) but Leigh and Dave have such a natural, regal, classic and comfortable way about them. This was further amplified by the way that their friends speak of them, everyone adores them and I think these photos show why. Every part of the day was filled with laughter and loads of friends and family. Everything on the day ran around 30 minutes early(in photographer time), it’s almost unheard of, this set the tone for a calm relaxed pace through everything.  Dave and Leigh were so caring and considerate and were always checking in on how I was doing which really is, above and beyond general expectations, it was great to feel so much a part of their special day, I can’t thank you both enough, (to the point of making me tea after our creative shoot! – I will never forget that haha). Congratulations to you both, lots and lots of love.
