The bride did all the decor and planning on her own and made her own wedding cake which was so unbelievably beautiful, she is a very skilled pastry chef. Their wedding was filled with close friends and family, a great deal of whom came with them, all the way from Dubai, so special!  Thank you for sharing your big day with me and just being so great the whole day, hope that you enjoy reliving it all through these images xxx

Andre and Kirstin’s wedding vow renewal was a very special one for me, partly because Kirst and I have been friends since school and also because it was my first trip to the Kruger. Their bush inspired wedding was held at Grand Kruger Lodge in Marloth Park, just outside the Kruger National Park, on the Crocodile River. It was an unbelievable setting for such a happy celebration, with the bride and groom all the way from Australia and so many friends and family from all over the world joining them. I am so glad that you chose me to be a part of this fantastic celebration, you two are such a perfect couple. xx

Adam and Elizma remind me of the saying, “The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation that you ever had.” They have a magnetic kind of quiet contentedness when they are with each other.  Mike and Chelsea got married at the beautiful Palm Dunes Bach Lodge, in Blythedale on the KZN North Coast. The decor was seaside themed and every element was clearly carefully thought out. Marc and Sam had their magical wedding at The Litchi Orchard in Salt Rock, KZN. One of the last weddings that the venue was due to hold. It was one of the most fun weddings I have shot because a large portion of the guests were friends and Sam and Marc really made sure that they included me in everything and even asked me to stay and party after – love that! They love the beach and love food so this was a natural venue choice, with gorgeous views and a delectable 6 course dinner. I find that styled shoots are a great way to ‘refresh’ my creativity, what’s difficult about them though, is to focus when you have so much pretty to look at. I’m kind of like a magpie to these things. So here we are, a small selection of what the team and I got up to at the beautiful Old Halliwell Country Inn a few weeks ago, enjoy.
